My name is Jens Tornblad and I am a civil engineer from Chalmers Civil Engineering Line where I graduated in 1993. Over the years, I have worked without exception in the heavier engineering industry in industries such as the manufacture of stainless steel pipes, hydropower and the propulsion of ships. The professional roles have varied and I have experience from a number of areas such as production technology, development, project management, construction, documentation and aftermarket. It is especially aftermarket with its special circumstances and requirements that is most close to my heart. In this area, I have been involved in accident and quality investigations as well as training.
